Buddha said that there is no true happiness to be found in ordinary existence. That for something to be a true source of happiness, it would necessarily have to always provide happiness, perpetually, with no law of diminishing returns, i.e. the more you had of it, the happier you would become. True happiness, he said, lies within our own mind, in inner peace.

I’m all for that. But personally, noodles come damn close to breaking that philosophy. Because, basically, noodles = happiness.
